The Opportunity
Lesley University is seeking a Mailroom Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure the efficient and professional completion of all mail deliveries. In this role, the Mailroom Supervisor will oversee the center and participate in the completion of all mail deliverables in a cost efficient and professional manner. Responsibilities include: providing training and management to direct report(s) and work-study students; implementing Center related policies and procedures while making recommendations to the AVP of Operations as warranted; managing bulk mailing requests and delivery of pre-sorted mail to the Post Office and campus; reviewing all invoices prior to payment; and developing monthly departmental reports. In addition, the Mailroom Supervisor serves as the administrator for the university's Staples account, offers backup support for the Copy Center as need; maintains inventory of all center supplies; and oversees the sustainability e-waste recycling program. The Mailroom Supervisor will provide excellent customer service to clients, and facilitates the resolution of issues concerning pricing, orders, and invoicing for all faculty, staff, and students.
Qualities and Capabilities
A successful candidate will have:

Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
-
2 to 4+ years of experience in mail, copy and/or fulfillment function (preferred)

Computer and Microsoft Office software experience (required); Experience with PC’s, copier and printer troubleshooting (preferred)

Experience in delivering mail

Experience in operation of copy and mail machines, performing complex jobs as required

Experience with Colleague ERP system (preferred)

Demonstrated skill with understanding and communicating detailed information

Excellent customer service experience (required)

Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Base Pay Range: $58,656 - $65,774 annually
