Partners in Child Development is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to lead our first middle school classroom at the Anderson School in Andover, MA. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new program while making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with complex medical and developmental needs. Come grow with us!

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 11-month school calendar

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized curricula and IEPs
  • Lead classroom planning, instruction, and behavioral supports
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records
  • Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and support staff
  • Foster a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment

What You Bring

  • Required: MA DESE Licensure (PreK–8) in Severe Disabilities or Moderate Disabilities (or in process)
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Special Education
  • Experience working with students ages 3–16 with multiple disabilities, medically fragile
  • Knowledge of the IEP process and special education best practices
  • Strong communication, organization, and technology skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform active classroom tasks
  • Passing of all background and fingerprint checks
