Job DescriptionFinance Manager
About the Role
The Finance Manager will report to the General Manager and lead a team of 2-3 employees. This will be a key role in the organization, maintaining ownership of the financial statements, P&L forecasts, and will work closely with the entire team to be the main point of contact for the corporate finance team.
Responsibilities

Financial ownership of the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow/Net Working Capital

Responsible for partnering with the local team to deliver the Annual Financial Plan

Lead profitability and forecasting discussions by providing insights and influencing the organization on results-driven improvements.

Proactively identify operational and financial improvements that will drive profitability and efficiency.

Lead, coach, and guide a team of 2-3 office staff in ensuring their responsibilities are achieved accurately and timely.

Responsible for the reporting and understanding of projects, maintenance contracts, and enhancement jobs, including profitability and pipeline.

Oversee the monthly close process, review the financials for accuracy each month, and explain variances to the forecast.

Main point of contact for the corporate accounting team, providing timely and accurate financial information.

Prepare city and state tax filings on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Lead trainings and provide educational tools to the business, as needed.

Partner with the corporate team to support future system integrations.

Identify and participate in adhoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
-
7+ years of accounting/finance experience, with 2+ years in a comparable industry (engineering, construction, design/build)

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and Intermediate Excel skills

QuickBooks experience, plus experience in a Tier 2 ERP (Sage, NetSuite, etc…)

Ability to adapt to a changing environment and manage multiple priorities

Experience leading a small team

Excellent writing, communicating and analytical skills
Pay range and compensation package
$120k-$140k base salary plus bonus
