Job Title: Appliance Technician
Location: Wakefield, MA
Pay Rate: $35 to $40 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift (8am - 5pm, 1-hour lunch break)
Weekend work available occasionally, but is optional
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. In this full-time role, the technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing both residential and commercial appliances in and around the Boston and Greater Boston areas. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 consecutive years of experience in appliance repair, with a strong understanding of electrical and HVAC systems.
Qualifications of the Appliance Technician
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in appliance repair (residential and/or commercial)
- Universal EPA Certification is a plus
- Clean driving record required
- Strong knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Certification in Appliance Repair is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Responsibilities of the Appliance Technician
- Travel to customer locations in the Boston area and perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of appliances (Company Work Van Provided)
- Troubleshoot appliance issues and provide effective solutions
- Maintain excellent customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients
- Perform other related duties as required
