Under general supervision, performs sample handling in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations for environmental laboratories. The candidate will be part of a collaborative and fast-paced team driving preclinical research focused on human tumor biology and immune function. The role offers the opportunity to work with clinically relevant human samples and contribute to translational research efforts that support early-stage therapeutic discovery. <li>Support the culture and maintenance of primary tumor tissues, including tumor slice assays, spheroids/organoids, and immune co-cultures</li>
<li>Process tumor/blood specimens: e.g. tissue dissociation, PBMC isolations from whole blood, viability assessment, and assay preparation</li>

We are seeking an experienced Research Associate/Senior Research Associate to join Marianas Preclinical Development function.
 
Specifically, this role will support Preclinical Development (including DMPK and Radiopharmacology) advancing personalized medicine and radiopharmaceuticals. This will include tumor model development/optimization, designing and executing pharmacokinetic studies and pharmacology studies using radiotherapeutics.
 
The role requires the candidate to have a broad understanding of in-vivo pharmacology, analyze data, make presentations at research meetings, and interface productively and successfully with internal cross-functional teams, potential external collaborators, and contract research organizations (CROs).
 
The candidate should be a creative individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to step outside of his/her comfort zone.
 
Illustrative Breadth of Responsibilities:
