Job Summary:
The Family-based Intensive Treatment (FIT) Program provides intensive short-term (on average, 4 to 6 months) in-home, community-based treatment to an identified youth and their family. The focus of FIT is to ameliorate the youth’s mental health issues and strengthen the family structures and supports, with the goal of safety transitioning the youth in to a less-intensive, community-based treatment. To do so, at risk youth and their families are provided medically necessary intensive family therapy and robust care coordination. The clinical goal of this program is to provide youth under 21 and their parents/caregivers with the intensive short- term treatment needed to maintain the youth at home safely and to (re)connect them to ongoing outpatient and/or community-based services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>The Family Partner provides education and support throughout the duration of treatment, attends care coordination meetings, and may assist the caregivers in articulating the youth's strengths, needs, and goals.</li>
<li>The Family Partner educates caregivers about how to effectively navigate the child-serving systems and about the existence of informal/community resources available to them and facilitates the caregiver's access to these resources. This may include:</li>
<li>Supporting the parent/caregiver/guardian in navigating the child-serving systems and processes; Fostering empowerment, including linkages to peer/parent support and self-help groups.</li>
<li>The FP will provide care coordination as clinically indicated through phone calls, in-person meetings, and/or virtual meetings with collaterals throughout their work with the youth and family, including making appropriate referrals and "warm hand offs" to follow-up providers, as indicated.</li>
<li>The Family Partner FIT Service provider supports identification of community resources and development of natural supports for youth and family to support and sustain achievement of the youth's treatment plan goals and objectives.</li>
<li>The FP will work closely within a multi-disciplinary team that includes a clinical team lead and counselor to provide support and interventions that teach the caregiver to navigate the child-serving system and empower them to do so on their own.</li>

Job Description 
Northeast Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our growing team!
FFS - Fee For Service Position
The Behavior Technician will be responsible for the implementation of clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and provision of ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills, at the direction of their supervising BCBA. The Behavior Technician will monitor client behavior, collect data on client behavior, and report the data back to supervising BCBA. The Behavior Technician will work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA and client’s family to support meaningful changes in client behavior.
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>A high school diploma or a GED and have 24 months of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth or families</li>
</ul>
OR
<ul>
<li>An associates degree or higher in either a human, social, or educational services discipline, or a degree or certification related to behavior management from an accredited community college or educational institution and have 12 months experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families</li>
</ul>
OR
<ul>
<li>Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and have 12 months experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families</li>
</ul>
Other Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Required availability after school, evening and late evening hours</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills</li>

Reporting to the Volunteer Lead, the Volunteer Coordinator assists in the recruiting, training, organization, and support of the team of volunteer drivers within the RCT service area, administering the volunteer driver program to ensure the provision of efficient, high-quality, safe volunteer driver services to RCT passengers. This position will be based in our Morrisville (VT) office, serving Lamoille, Franklin, and Grand Isle Counties.
Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties and responsibilities reflect the essential functions of the position, but do not restrict the assignment of additional or different tasks; changes to the duties and responsibilities may be made at managements discretion. <li>Coordinate distribution, completion, and receipt of all required forms and documentation for volunteer drivers, including background check consent and information forms; applications; driver license and vehicle insurance verification; and other documents as required for reports and files. <li>Perform volunteer driver vehicle inspections.</li>
</ul>

<li>Maintain complete files of volunteer drivers and all volunteer driver-involved incidents and accidents.</li>

<li>Assist in the planning, development, organization, and presentation of initial, periodic, and ad-hoc training for all drivers, as required by contract and/or internal program standards, and as training needs are identified.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Address inaccurate volunteer driver manifests and follow up with drivers as necessary to complete and/or correct trip data.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Responsible for volunteer relations: regularly communicate and check in with volunteers and respond promptly to volunteer concerns and complaints.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Inform Volunteer Lead of concerns and issues related to volunteer drivers, as necessary/appropriate.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Assist in the evaluation of volunteer driver performance; advise management on such performance and of any required/recommended corrective action and/or severance of the volunteer/Agency relationship; and take appropriate action, as necessary.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Responsible for promoting the volunteer driver program in the community.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Promote a positive image of RCT and professionally represent the Agency.</li>
