The Team Alloy’s In Vitro Pharmacology team collaborates with drug discovery partners to conduct in vitro studies on therapeutic candidates across diverse modalities. The Role&nbsp; We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist for in vitro screening and pre-clinical development to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. In this role, you will support the execution of in vitro functional cell-based assays to evaluate the potency, mechanism of action, and pharmacological properties of biologic therapeutics. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a commitment to scientific excellence, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment. You will report to the Head of In Vitro Pharmacology and will work collaboratively in a matrixed environment to drive biologics discovery while supporting rapid decision-making in a fast-moving biotech setting. <li>Execute: Support in vitro functional characterization of drug candidate molecules.</li>
<li>Develop: Bring a proactive mindset to optimize workflows for more efficient and effective data generation.</li>

 Principal Responsibilities&nbsp;

<li>Expand, bio-bank and characterize primary and immortalized cell lines to validate target expression and enable downstream assays.</li>
<li>Generate engineered cell lines using lentiviral, CRISPR or other techniques.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Support day-to-day lab and experimental workflows, including cell line inventory maintenance.</li>
<li>Execute cell-based functional assays using high-throughput approaches in primary cells, immortalized reporter cell lines, and other disease-relevant cellular systems.</li>
<li>Process human leukopaks, isolate and characterize human PBMCs.</li>
<li>Present experimental data and findings during team meetings.</li>
<li>Ensure timely and successful execution of project activities according to plan.</li>
<li>Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records in compliance with industry standards.</li>
<li>Maintain laboratory organization and ensure compliance with safety protocols.</li>

 Qualifications
<ul>
<li>PhD in Cell or Molecular Biology, or a related field, with 0-2 years (Scientist I) or 3-5 years (Scientist II) of relevant industry experience.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Direct experience with cell line engineering (CRISPR, lentiviral, etc) required.</li>
<li>Flow cytometry and fundamental cell and molecular biology techniques required.</li>
<li>Significant cell culture experience with primary and immortalized cell lines.</li>
<li>Experience handling human blood, leukopak processing, and PBMC isolations.</li>
<li>Hands on experience isolating and/or expanding primary immune cell subsets preferred.</li>
<li>Direct experience with high-throughput cell-based assays a plus.</li>
<li>Experience with live cell imaging (i.e. Incucyte) a plus.</li>
