The objective of the project is to develop specific algorithms for simultaneous quadrupedal locomotion and prehensile manipulation of 3D objects placed outside the immediate workspace of the mobile robot. The ideal candidate would be a graduate student on a Ph.D. track with advanced knowledge of legged locomotion, grasp pose detection, machine vision and contact-aware object manipulation. The software developed within this project should be validated and fine-tuned on a physical legged robot during the internship. The scope of products supported by this position can range from Architectural paints and stains to sport surface products, intumescent coatings, cleaning and disinfecting products and others based on company need.&nbsp; In this role you will be responsible for the following: Leadership &amp; Strategy:
<ul>
<li>Lead and mentor a team of scientists and technicians engaged in formulation, testing, and scale-up of innovative products for the Specialty Coatings business</li>
<li>Define R&amp;D priorities and manage project pipelines to support innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>Collaborate with senior management to align R&amp;D objectives with business strategy.</li>
</ul>
&nbsp;Product Development &amp; Innovation:
<ul>
<li>Direct the research and formulation of new products across a range of applications, including architectural paints, sport surfaces, intumescent coatings, and specialty products.</li>
<li>Oversee modification and enhancement of existing products to improve performance, sustainability, or cost-effectiveness.</li>
<li>Evaluate raw materials, benchmark competitive products, and drive material innovation.</li>
</ul>
Technical Oversight:
<ul>
<li>Ensure adherence to performance testing standards, QC procedures, and scale-up protocols.</li>
<li>Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure seamless product transfer from lab to production.</li>
<li>Serve as the technical expert for assigned product lines and provide support for customer inquiries, complaints, and product certifications.</li>
</ul>
Cross-functional Collaboration:
<ul>
<li>Work closely with Business Unit leadership, project management, operations, and commercial teams to drive project execution and timely product launches.</li>
<li>Partner with customers, suppliers and external research organizations to evaluate new technologies and raw materials.</li>
<li>Communicate technical findings and recommendations effectively across the organization.</li>

 Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).</li>
<li>8+ years of experience in research and development, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.</li>
<li>Strong background in surface coatings chemistry, with expertise in film formation, polymer chemistry, and coating performance testing preferred</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams.</li>

Research & Development Director

<h3>Job Description</h3>
Job Description:
The primary purpose of the Analyst I position is to Support Quality Control Microbiological testing of drug substances, raw materials and process intermediates in support of clinical development and commercial programs under cGMP and GLP guidelines, address excursions and conduct investigations.
 
Essential Job Responsibilities:
⦁ Attire gowning for Grade B/A manufacturing areas and collect EM samples for viable air, non-viable particulates, and surface viable samples.
⦁ Perform QC testing of samples for bioburden, microbial identification, growth promotion, and Endotoxin analysis.
⦁ Receive manufacturing samples for QC analysis, ship samples to the contract labs testing, review data for lot disposition.
⦁ Read and Review routine EM plates, lab testing data, logbooks, and documents for product release and trend reports.
⦁ Understand and follow aseptic behavior, good laboratory and manufacturing practices, and documentation.
⦁ Author/update laboratory procedures, protocols, and help in EM data trend reports.
⦁ Support cleanroom qualification, gowning qualification, aseptic process qualification, and personnel monitoring for manufacturing activities.
⦁ Initiate Incident reports for OOS results and work with the team to find a root cause and corrective actions.
⦁ Perform QC lab support activities like lab set up, housekeeping, instrumentation maintenance, and coordinate instrument calibration.
 
Required:
⦁ B.S. degree in Biology/ or other life science related degree with 0-3 years of relevant industry experience in a quality control role.
⦁ While working towards a completed B.S. degree, consideration will be given to associate degree in Biology or related life sciences with 2-5 years direct industry experience.
⦁ Excellent knowledge of Aseptic technique and common microbiological testing
⦁ Knowledge of relevant, compliance and guidance documents
⦁ Must be able to gown into cleanrooms in support of testing and manufacturing activities
⦁ Good documentation (ALCOA +) and data organization
⦁ Ability to work weekends is required; while most of the schedule will be during a standard work week, there will be regular weekend work.Interpersonal skills and ability to contribute to the success of a team

Microbiology Analyst

<h3>Job Description</h3>
Duration: 6 months

Description:
We are seeking an individual who will perform routine single plex and multiplex immunohistochemistry in drug discovery programs. The successful candidate will work in a group providing research support in target validation, target distribution, animal model development, pharmacology, and exploratory safety studies. Being detailed oriented is critical to this role.
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Specific activities will include immunohistochemistry performed on the Leica Bond Rx platform therefore, familiarity with this technology is important.</li>
<li>Exposure to multiplex using the Lumiphores COMET platform will be available.</li>
<li>Additional tasks include using computer-based laboratory tracking system (Sample Manager), Dream Path, interaction with study pathologists and project teams as well as inclusion in a highly dynamic, motivated team of immunohistochemistry scientists and histotechnologists.</li>
<li>The candidate must be comfortable working independently after a thorough period of training and onboarding as well as the ability to prioritize workload to manage several tasks.</li>
