<li>Wipe out the long lockers (the bottom) from any debris once per shift (especially during the winter months). </li>

Monitor, launder and actively maintain clean towel supply: 
<ul>
<li> Clean and restock the Towel Tracker throughout the day</li>
<li> Stack towels neatly on respective shelves/tables. </li>
<li> Transport new loads of laundry every 30 minutes.</li>
<li>Remove and clean dirty towels and stock with clean towels.[MS1]</li>
<li> Wash, dry and place workout laundry bags in the members’ locker before the next day. </li>
<li> Use separate buckets for clean and dirty towels and laundry.</li>
<li> Clean lint out of dryer screens after each load.</li>
</ul>
 Perform customer service and communication to resolve issues and maintain supplies:
<ul>
<li>Perform regular walk-throughs (every 10 minutes) of each room (steam, sauna, playtza) to check on the members using the rooms.</li>
<li>Perform Member Service - Attend to the needs of the members as needed and/or called upon (adjusting volume on the TVs, answering the phones and relaying messages, and many other member service needs). If you do not have the answer to a question, please get the member’s name and question; give it to your supervisor for follow up (that must happen within 24 hours).</li>
<li>Take whirlpool readings once per shift and log into logbook.</li>
<li>Notify Facilities when soap dispensers need to be refilled (always must be full).</li>
<li>Notify Facilities when shampoo and body soap containers in the shower area need to be refilled (always must be full). </li>
<li>Make coffee and refresh throughout the day. Replenish cereal and granola bars as needed.</li>
<li>Assist with the set up and clean-up of Sunday breakfast.</li>
<li>Notify incoming attendant of key tasks that must be attended to for their upcoming shift.</li>
</ul>

The Children's Center at Gunstock Mountain Resort has been providing quality Snowsports learning experiences for children of all ages in a fun, supportive, and safe environment for 80 years! We are now accepting applications for Children's Center Instructors for the winter season. Successful candidates must be proficient on most Gunstock terrain and surface conditions, with the world-class communication skills that our guests have come to expect.
You'll spend most of your time:
<ul>
<li>Using the PSIA &amp; AASI Teaching Methodology, provide guests with a professional ski or snowboard learning environment that encourages skill development appropriate for the guests’ ability level.</li>
<li>Upon lesson assignment, meet and greet Snowsports guests in a timely and professional manner; ensure students are matched to appropriate skill level and work with supervisors/managers to make appropriate changes when necessary.</li>
<li>Assist students with transporting ski/ride equipment to learning terrain as needed; educate them on proper load/unload procedures for chairlifts and carpet lifts.</li>
<li>Maintain a strong working knowledge of all Snowsports programs offered by the Snowsports School and Children's Center, as well as general knowledge of Gunstock’s overall operation.</li>
<li>Continuously model safe behavior and take appropriate action to address or report hazards; follow the Skier’s Responsibility Code at all times when skiing/riding at the resort.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
Skiers
Intermediate to advanced skiing skills with ability to ski in a comfortable, open-stance parallel (hip-width stance) on all intermediate (Blue) and less challenging, groomed expert (Black) terrain. Ability to ski beginner bumps, while maintaining rhythm and speed control preferred but not required.
Snowboarders
Intermediate to advanced snowboarding skills with ability to ride confidently on all intermediate (Blue) terrain in variable conditions. Ability to ride more challenging terrain and bumps with carved turns preferred but not required.
Youth Instructors:
As a 14 or 15-year-old instructor you will spend most of your time:

<li>Meet and Greet Children’s Center guests</li>
<li>Help students prepare for ski/ snowboard lessons</li>
<li>Assist lead instructor, and in some cases, lead ski or snowboard lesson in a designated supervised area</li>
