·&nbsp; Provide assistance to Site Safety, Health, and Substance Abuse Program to ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel at the job sites.
·&nbsp; Assist in the development of site-specific Safety and Quality plans.
·&nbsp; Provide job site quality control checks to ensure the best possible product in accordance with the Quality Control Plan.
·&nbsp; Participate in Safety and Quality Control meetings.
·&nbsp; Oversee the preparation of accurate, detailed, written safety and daily reports.
·&nbsp; Together with the Project Manager, prepare agenda and hold job progress meetings with subcontractors to coordinate project progress with minutes distributed to all parties.
·&nbsp; Maintain communications with Project Manager to ensure proper coordination of the project amongst the on-site office, job site operations and subcontractors/suppliers for the project.
·&nbsp; Participate in Pre-Construction activities as needed.
·&nbsp; Participate in Owner meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:
·&nbsp; Minimum five years’ supervisory experience in heavy civil and site work projects ranging from 3M – 150M.
·&nbsp; A degree in civil engineering, and five years of project experience
·&nbsp; Experience in supervising multiple subcontractors or crews on multiple construction projects
·&nbsp; Experience overseeing, foremen, or Crews
·&nbsp; Strong knowledge of piledriving, earth support, grading, excavation, underground utilities, concrete, and paving.
·&nbsp; Good communication and management skills
·&nbsp; Knowledge and efficiency of Microsoft Word, Excel and Procore
·&nbsp; OSHA Safety Course Certification and CPR Certification

Schochet is currently seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Schedules and assists with daily operations (service orders, repaints/re-carpets, apartment turnovers, etc.)
2. Coordinate service contracts and oversee any vendor and contractor activities.
3. Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors and supervisors.
4. Inspect vacated apartments and complete ‘make-ready’ checklist and inform manager of needed services and repairs.
5. Required to be available and often on-site in the event of a weather or property emergency.
6. Conducting property inspections and/or participating on an inspection team.
7. Complete preventative maintenance activities.
 
Lead Maintenance technician positions require that an individual be able to lift moderate weights of between 30-60 lbs. on a regular basis and the ability to stand and/or walk all day. In addition, occasional heavy lifting may be required. Duties of this position may require strength and endurance in performing heavy manual labor. Able to work independently and strong customer service skills. In addition to the normal responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician, the Lead Maintenance Technician will take on the additional responsibility of filling in for the Maintenance Supervisor or Facilities Manager if they are unavailable.
Minimum of 3+ years of residential property maintenance required. Must live within 30 minutes of Ayer for rotating on-call and have a valid driver’s license and own transportation. $150 premium paid for all week’s that you are on-call, additionally you are paid a time and a half rate for any emergency calls plus travel time.
