Summary: The Direct Support Professional 3 will support and assist in Level 3 residential programs. Staff will help individuals who need daily intervention, supervision, and skills training in activities of daily living while managing within a home environment and in the community. Overnight Residential Counselors are members of a team responsible for providing high quality direct care services to adults with developmental disabilities. As a nonprofit organization, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. We are looking for both entry level and experienced individuals to work as Awake Overnights in our residential homes. The right candidates will be responsible for providing care and assistance to Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Summary: The Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional 3 will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities during the overnight hours in Level 3 residential programs. Staff will provide support to individuals who need daily intervention, supervision, and skills training in activities of daily living while managing within a home environment and in the community. Individuals may require moderate to considerable physical assistance or accommodation. Staff will receive and must pass specialized training to provide enhanced supervision or interventions designed to address multiple disabilities, including behavioral support or enhanced medical care. Staff may be required to have specialized certifications; be credentialed or trained in specialized areas such as PAC or ABA techniques; and/or have advanced training in areas such as autism, behavioral supports, and/or healthcare.
Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday 11:00pm-9:00am (40 hours) Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Provide support and assist individuals with all activities of daily living.</li>
<li>Provide services to individuals according to DDS, CARF, and all applicable regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies and procedures.</li>

<li>Assist individuals during the overnight shift.</li>
<li>Complete household cleaning duties as assigned.</li>

Essential Functions: To provide support in day programs and in the community that enable individuals served with developmental disabilities and/or brain injuries to develop and maintain skills that foster personal growth and independence.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assist individuals served with personal care tasks, which include, but are not limited to: toileting, grooming, personal hygiene, assisting with mobility, repositioning, dressing, and range of motion exercises.</li>
<li> Support individuals in the completion of Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Independent Living Development tasks, which include but are not limited to: cooking, cleaning, general maintenance, shopping, money management, safety and self- preservation.</li>
<li> Utilize Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) practices, to create a thoughtful and supportive environment by ensuring activities, plans and routines reflect the preferences, needs and goals of individuals.</li>
<li> Ensure individuals’ nutritional needs are met according to a prescribed diet. Assist with feeding as necessary.</li>
<li> Use supportive and adaptive, health-related protections/equipment as prescribed. Clean equipment as directed.</li>
<li> Learn and utilize communication tools which include but are not limited to email, tablets, letter boards, etc. taking into consideration the method most suited to individual needs.</li>

Qualifications:
