PURPOSE: To assist the Director of Resident Care and Service Coordination with providing exceptional quality care for the general wellbeing of the elderly residents that suffer from Alzheimer’s and Dementia. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

<li>Assisting clients with running errands such as doctor appointments, grocery shopping, and any approved activities to improve quality of life.</li>
<li>Providing nutritional support as needed. Such as meal preparation and assisting with feeding.</li>
<li>Document and report any changes in the client's condition to the care management team, including but not limited to appearance and gross behavioral changes in the client.</li>
<li>The caregiver may also provide medication reminders.</li>
<li>Abides by the agencys infection control policies, including proper handwashing techniques consistent with CDC Guidelines.</li>
<li>Abides by all policies and procedures outlined in the agencys Policy and Procedure Manual, Caregiver Handbook, and Caregiver Training Manual.</li>
