Vermont Cider Company is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join our team. The Sanitation Technician is responsible for the sanitary cleaning of manufacturing equipment as well as the overall housekeeping of the production facility. Vermont Cider Company is willing to coach and train candidates that are dependable and show desire for growth and knowledge. 
 
Schedule is Monday to Thursday, 7:00pm to 5:30am, eligible for shift differential
 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Comply with all safety and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.</li>
<li>Disassembly and reassembly of production equipment for cleaning.</li>
<li>Perform CIP on beverage processing equipment (filters, hoses, fillers, etc.)</li>
<li>Comply with all Sanitation SOP’s.</li>
<li>Perform general housekeeping and custodial work (trash removal etc.).</li>
<li>Obtain fork lift certification.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
 
Qualifications/Skills
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience.</li>
<li>Must possess basic math and English skills.</li>
<li>Must be comfortable with computers.</li>
<li>Previous machine operator or CIP experience would be a plus.</li>
<li>Must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment accordingly.</li>
<li>Must be able to learn and display a good understanding of the sanitation process and perform such tasks with minimal supervision within 90 days.</li>
<li>Previous fork lift experience is desired.</li>
</ul>
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs routinely. Frequent bending to manipulate valves or hook up hoses. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be comfortable wearing proper protective equipment while using chemicals.
 
Work Environment: This position will be exposed to mostly manufacturing areas. Exposure to cleaning and production line CIP chemicals is routine. Proper PPE such as ear plugs, eye wear and safety shoes are required. Additional PPE is required when using chemicals etc.

Job Description

<li>Greet Guests with a smile</li>
<li>Respond to guest questions</li>
<li>Maintain a high level of customer service</li>
<li>Learn and adapt to all necessary operations with Toast POS system</li>
<li>Make recommendations for guests</li>
<li>Assist and direct guests during their walk</li>
<li>Observe and report any issues along the guided light path</li>
<li>Maintain a visible presence on the Lights walk, and various stationary positions throughout the course.</li>
<li>Identify and report all safety hazards to Manager on Duty</li>
<li>Identify and report any misconduct to Manager on Duty</li>
<li>Engaging guests to enforce LaBelle policies, regulations, and guidelines to ensure safety</li>
<li>Properly using radios to communicate with counterparts, supervisors, and managers</li>
<li>Assisting in the placement and removal of cones and signage throughout the property</li>
<li>Cleaning and restocking of all LaBelle Lights spaces.</li>
<li>Serve hot and cold beverages</li>
<li>Assist in snow removal, ice and snow management on property</li>
<li>Provide drivers entering the property clear and concise directions to assigned parking lots</li>
<li>Use traffic markers to help direct drivers into parking spots</li>
<li>Understanding and complying with LaBelle guidelines, departmental SOPs, and General Orders</li>
<li>Other tasks assigned</li>
</ul>

Part time; $17.00 per hour, must work nights and weekends, Tuesday-Sunday , 6-8 hour shift.
