The heat treat process begins after the screws are manufactured in the manufacturing building. The screws are moved from the manufacturing building to the heat treat building to be processed. The candidate will be operating a heat treat furnace and using a forklift to load screws into the furnace. The candidate will be required to stand on their feet for a minimum of 8 hours a day.

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician I to join our team. The position offers a schedule of 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be responsible for wiring and building electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies, interpreting schematics, diagrams, and blueprints, and performing various mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Wire and build electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies per customer requirements.</li>
<li>Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and bills of materials.</li>
<li>Drill or tap holes to mount control units or provide openings for components, wiring, or instruments.</li>
<li>Utilize a variety of small hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.</li>
<li>Complete point-to-point wiring and install a wide variety of electronic components including PLCs, relays, lights, and switches.</li>
<li>Document changes as necessary to initiate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).</li>
<li>Perform operations such as deburring, grinding, and sawing.</li>
<li>Operate hand pallet jacks to move material within the plant.</li>
<li>Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.</li>
<li>Willingness to work overtime as needed.</li>

Essential Skills

<li>2+ years' experience in control panel building, wiring, reading schematics, and electrical diagrams.</li>
<li>Proficiency in reading and writing in English.</li>
<li>Ability to work from blueprints and schematics.</li>
<li>Experience with ladder logic schematics.</li>
<li>Ability to operate hand tools.</li>
<li>Experience with wiring harnesses or components.</li>
<li>Knowledge of various wire gauges, types, and sizes.</li>
<li>Ability to stand for long periods of time.</li>
<li>Experience building control panels.</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.</li>

Work Environment
Work involves frequent lifting of materials and products up to 30 pounds, with long periods of standing. The working conditions are typical for a manufacturing environment, requiring the use of safety equipment such as eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, safety shoes, and hardhats. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. Safety shoes are always required throughout the manufacturing plant, and certifications such as lock out/tag out and fork truck certification may be necessary. Other personal protective equipment may be required for tasks like drilling, tapping, deburring, cutting, testing, lifting, and moving materials.

Responsibilities
