<li>Provides patient safety assistance with walking, table to chair transfers and with wheelchair use.</li>
<li>Ensures professional, accurate, current, and comprehensive documentation with proper spelling and grammar within the medical record. Handles the release of health information per policy.</li>
<li>Assists with procedures directed by the practitioner such as removing sutures and staples, changing dressings, and obtaining specimens (throat culture, urinalysis, finger stick hemoglobin and Hemoglobin A1Cs and Nasopharyngeal swabs.) Documents results in an accurate and efficient manner within the electronic medical record.</li>
<li>Responsible for following quality control policies for lab and refrigerated items.</li>
<li>Responsible for monitoring medical emergency tools and supplies (AED, Fire Extinguisher, Eye Wash station, Emergency Kit, Oxygen, etc.)</li>
<li>Handles refills for prescriptions according to policy.</li>
<li>Administers vaccines and other medications using the seven rights (right person, right medication, right route, right reason, right time, right dose, right documentation.)</li>
<li>Keeps patients' safety as top priority.</li>
<li>Demonstrates flexibility in work schedule and location, based on the needs of the organization.</li>

Requirements:
Education:

<li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Active Medical Assistant Certification</li>
</ul>
Experience:

Job DescriptionChild &amp; Adolescent Psychiatrist | Part Time | Maine and/or New Hampshire | Hybrid Child &amp; Adolescent Psychiatrist | Part Time | Maine and/or New Hampshire | Hybrid Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Child &amp; Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric care to youth in residential treatment programs located in Maine and New Hampshire. This role offers a flexible schedule, meaningful clinical impact, and the opportunity to work in a growing, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:

<li>Conduct psychiatric evaluations for new admissions (required within 24 hours of admission)</li>
<li>Provide ongoing medication management and psychiatric follow-ups (flexible scheduling—can be completed within 1–2 days of your choosing each week)</li>
<li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive care planning</li>
<li>Maintain documentation in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards</li>
<li>Maine: 12-bed residential program, with potential for expansion</li>
<li>New Hampshire: Smaller caseload, approximately 12–15 beds</li>
<li>All patients are Child &amp; Adolescent in residential treatment settings</li>
<li>Flexible weekday schedule for follow-ups</li>
<li>Preferred: Availability for 1–2 weekends per month to manage new admissions only</li>
<li>Preferred: Onsite presence in either Maine or New Hampshire, with the ability to telehealth into the other location</li>

 Qualifications:

<li>Board Certified or Board Eligible General Adult Psychiatrist with Child Psychiatry experience</li>

<li>Experience in residential or inpatient settings strongly preferred</li>
<li>Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills</li>
