Knowledge of electrical schematic and board layout CAD/CAM tools.&nbsp;4.&nbsp; Knowledge of analog design techniques and design simulation tools (i.e. SPICE);&nbsp;5.&nbsp; Experience with digital design techniques using FPGA based digital and analog signal processing systems.&nbsp;6. Working knowledge of related engineering fields such as software, thermal, mechanical, optical and/or structural in order to collaborate on instrument design.&nbsp;7. &nbsp; Strong oral and written communications skills, including the ability to serve as a technical spokesperson for SAO in areas related to the electronics of advanced instrumentation.&nbsp; Education completed outside the United States must be deemed equivalent to higher education programs of U.S. Institutions by an organization that specializes in the interpretation of foreign educational credentials. Eye Health Vision Centers have been proudly providing the Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Fall River, Taunton MA and Middletown RI communities with advanced technology and eye care services for over four decades. 
The Ophthalmic Technician performs a range of duties which includes preparing the patient to see Attending Physician (preliminary exam, medical history, &amp; testing), preparation of examination and treatment rooms, performing basic and routine vision screening examinations, administering eye medications, cleaning and maintaining ophthalmic instruments and assisting physicians during minor surgical and laser procedures.
Duties/Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Obtain medical and eye history from patient and document information using the EHR system</li>
<li>Prepare examination and treatment rooms</li>
<li>Perform screening and testing (will train) to prepare the patient for doctor's exam including visual acuity, color vision testing, auto-lensometry, autorefraction, tonometry, Amsler grid, pupil evaluation, and other testing as needed</li>
<li>Administer eye medications</li>
<li>May assist physicians during minor surgical procedures</li>
<li>Will train to maintain and calibrate ophthalmic and surgical instruments</li>
<li>Must have a clear understanding of company policies including the company manual</li>
<li>You will be required to travel to other location for business needs. </li>
