Laborer (Quarry)

Performs various routine duties involving the maintenance of the Town of Stratham’s Municipal cemeteries, parks and or roadsides. May operate equipment and trucks as assigned and licensed. Works under the supervision of the Public Works Director or designee. Laborer may work unattended as needed or instructed by supervisor. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Performs maintenance work such as mowing, trimming, weeding, irrigating, raking, fertilizing, shoveling, pruning, planting and mulching but not limited too. May be required to perform custodial duties within municipal facilities as needed. Follow and enforce department rules and regulations. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT USED: Mowers, trimmers, hand tools, shovels, backpack blowers, hand and shop power tools, custodial tools and equipment, specialized turf maintenance equipment, field maintenance equipment, telephone and or 2-way radio.
LICENSE: A valid NH Operators motor vehicle license is required for all applicants 18 years of age and older. Passing a driver history and criminal background check is required for this job for those applicants 18 years of age and older.
CPR and First Aid Certification is recommended but not required at the time of hire.

The Opportunity&nbsp;
Flock Safety is looking for an Installation Technician to join our Field Operations team. Our team is comprised of individuals who are results-driven, detail-oriented and combine a great work ethic with critical thinking to install products that delight our customers. Our technicians are the face of our company and interact frequently with a variety of our customers while out in the field. This is an important role that is crucial to the success of our business.
How you'll make an impact:
<ul>
<li>
Install poles of varying lengths per install specifications. Requires digging a minimum of 8” x 36” holes.&nbsp;
</li>
<li>
Mount solar panels on poles and attach external batteries to solar panels
</li>
<li>
Affix license-plate reading cameras with PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) technology to poles, angle to capture desired footage
</li>
<li>
Work on both public and private roads, working often on equipment 10-12’ high.&nbsp;
</li>
<li>
Regularly work with a bucket truck and/or ladder to work on equipment up to 30’ high.
</li>
<li>
Repairing minor breaks in underground irrigation or private wiring
</li>
<li>
Adhere to daily schedule by showing up prepared and complete work in a reasonable time frame&nbsp;
</li>
<li>
Provide installation pictures via the Flock field app on a mobile device
</li>
<li>
Perform administrative tasks such as inventory management and reporting, continuing training, and receiving product shipments
</li>
<li>
Perform work in safe and professional manner
</li>
<li>
Meet with customers to discuss installation options and perform site surveys
</li>
<li>
Interpret traffic control plan and permit drawings to identify proper installation location for a Flock device
</li>
</ul>
The Skillset
<ul>
<li>
This role requires frequent/continuous bending, digging, reaching, climbing, squatting, sitting, standing, walking, driving, and independently lifting up to 50 lbs.
</li>
<li>
Prior experience with field work is a plus: construction, security systems, low voltage wiring, or similar.
</li>
<li>
Prior knowledge or willingness to be trained to operate and drive a bucket truck on occasion.
</li>
<li>
Comfortable driving a work van(Ford Transit) and occasionally a 1 ton pickup truck(Ram 3500) or towing a small trailer.
</li>
<li>
Prior use of tow behind compressor, stand on skid steer(Toro Dingo) or ride on skid steer(Bobat) is a plus (training included)
</li>
<li>
Must be comfortable working on and around ladders/heights
</li>
<li>
Handyman-like experience whether personally or professionally.&nbsp;
</li>
<li>
Able to think on your feet and while using your hands.&nbsp;

Required Availability: M-F during daylight hours. Overtime is at times expected and required based on the particular market's ticket backlog and/or unique requirements.&nbsp; Start and end times will vary based on time of year (solar constrained) and the workload.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
Travel: Expect to travel up to 3 hours away during service tickets regularly. Occasionally this role will require travel up to 8 hrs away. In these situations, overnight accommodations are provided. We do not anticipate the travel demand for this role to exceed 30%.

 In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary of $62,400 as well as stock options
