Are you an experienced stewardship professional, ready to serve as a critical team leader in managing a growing portfolio and brand-new team in the Connecticut River Valley? Our Central and Valley Region is expanding and looking to grow our stewardship team support our newest properties! 
The Role:
As a Stewardship Manager is responsible for identifying, planning and executing property-specific stewardship activities in the Central and Valley Region, focusing primarily on the expanding portfolio of properties in the Connecticut River Valley part of the region. The properties in this region feature unique and diverse landscapes, including large forested properties, Trustees office buildings, large grassland fields, complex recreational trail systems, a fleet of vehicles and equipment, and much more. The Stewardship Manager will provide hands-on leadership for all day-to-day operations on our properties, including maintenance, monitoring, enforcement of regulations, and collaboration with internal and external teams and stakeholders. This role will serve as a coordinator for capital and special projects as appropriate. The Stewardship Manager position is primarily field based with some administrative tasks required to identify, plan and report technical stewardship initiatives. A big part of your success will come from maintaining effective relationships with a wide range of property stakeholders, such as visitors, neighbors, donors, tenants, partner organizations, etc. This role works collaboratively with other regional and statewide colleagues, supervises one full-time Steward, multiple Seasonal Stewards, volunteers; and reports to the Regional Director Stewardship and Community Outreach. 
Specifically, you’ll:

<li>Identify day-to-day maintenance requirements for all properties. Prioritize, schedule, and carry out maintenance and project-based activities. </li>

Job Overview Egan Landscape Group, a leading landscape company based in Plymouth, Massachusetts, is seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Irrigation Technician to join our team working out of our Plymouth, MA location. This position is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems while managing field crews and ensuring projects meet quality and efficiency standards. Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Leadership
<ul>
<li>Supervise and lead irrigation crews on installations, maintenance, and repair projects.</li>
<li>Delegate tasks effectively and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.</li>
<li>Monitor project timelines and budgets, providing updates to the Irrigation Division Manager.</li>
</ul>
2. Technical Expertise
<ul>
<li>Troubleshoot and diagnose complex irrigation system issues, including valves, pumps, sprinklers, and controllers.</li>
<li>Program and configure irrigation controllers and automation systems for optimal performance.</li>
<li>Install and troubleshoot 2-wire, multi-strand, and conventional wire irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality.</li>
<li>Ensure all irrigation systems are designed and maintained with a focus on efficiency and water conservation.</li>
</ul>
3. Customer Interaction
<ul>
<li>Act as the on-site representative for Egan Landscape Group, addressing client questions and concerns professionally.</li>
<li>Provide recommendations for system upgrades, repairs, or modifications to enhance performance.</li>
<li>Maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality service and communication.</li>
</ul>
4. Quality Assurance
<ul>
<li>Inspect work sites to ensure proper installation and compliance with company and industry standards.</li>
<li>Conduct final checks and tests on systems before project handoff to clients.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, materials used, and time spent on projects.</li>
</ul>
5. Team Development
<ul>
<li>Train and mentor junior technicians to foster skill development and team cohesion.</li>
<li>Promote and enforce safety protocols among the crew.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Irrigation Division Manager on personnel needs and performance feedback.</li>
</ul>
6. Equipment and Inventory
<ul>
<li>Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in excellent working condition.</li>
<li>Ensure necessary materials and supplies are available for each project and report inventory needs.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
1. Experience
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 4 years of experience in irrigation system installation, maintenance, or repair.</li>
</ul>
2. Leadership
<ul>
<li>Proven experience supervising or leading a team in a related field.</li>
</ul>
3. Technical Skills
<ul>
<li>Strong Knowledge of irrigation systems, including troubleshooting, repairs, and programming.</li>
<li>Familiarity with modern irrigation controllers, sensors, and automation technology.</li>
<li>Expertise in working with 2-wire, multi-strand, and conventional wire irrigation systems.</li>
</ul>
4. Certifications
<ul>
<li>Certifications from the Irrigation Association (e.g., Certified Irrigation Technician) are a plus.</li>
<li>DOT Medical Card (required).</li>
<li>Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.</li>
<li>Class 2A Hoisting License (preferred).</li>
</ul>
5. Physical Requirements

<li>Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.</li>
<li>Capability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks.</li>
</ul>
