As a Legal Researcher at Jerry.ai, you’ll be embedded in the business from day one, working closely with our General Counsel (ex-Skadden), and collaborating directly with our executive leadership team.

This is a fully remote full-time role with options to work onsite (we have offices in Palo Alto, Toronto, and New York).
What you’ll do:
<ul>

Research legal requirements, and manage licensing and compliance required for various product offerings based on federal and state laws
</li>
<li>
Conduct thorough contract reviews, ensure we maintain compliance with various laws and regulations including state insurance, finance and data privacy laws
</li>
<li>
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with partners and vendors
</li>
<li>
Assist in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Jerry’s legal and compliance policies and procedures to effectively manage legal and business risks
</li>

Ideal profile:

Strong academic background in law, whether through a Bachelor’s degree, JD, LLM, or PhD in a legal field

Strong ability to quickly synthesize and apply new information

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed on this job posting, determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, the compensation may include opportunities for equity grants.

STR is seeking an All-source Analyst and Modeling Engineer who has a passion for research and development of models of cyber physical systems. Work must be performed onsite
What you will do:
<ul>
<li>Develop tools to help sift through large datasets to identify information relevant for modeling efforts.</li>
<li>Create system models from circuit diagrams, schematics, source code, signal processing algorithms, etc.</li>
<li>Work in multi-disciplinary teams to tackle challenging problems from a wide variety of technologies to develop innovative cybersecurity solutions</li>
<li>Document, demonstrate, and present research</li>
<li>Solve real world problems that have an impact on national security</li>
</ul>
Who you are:
<ul>
<li>This position requires an Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is needed by the U.S. Government</li>
<li>Active CI poly or willingness to obtain one</li>
<li>BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience)</li>
<li>Proficiency with modeling tools: SPICE, MATLAB,</li>
<li>Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C/C++, Python, etc.</li>
<li>General understanding of electrical engineering: Circuit and flow diagrams, signal processing chains, network traffic data</li>
<li>Willing to travel frequently from an STR office to the customer location in MD, or spend the majority of time at customer location</li>
</ul>
