The City of Franklin, NH is seeking a motivated individual willing to tackle challenges with high energy and develop positive working relationships with coworkers, residents, and public officials to serve as the&nbsp; City’s next Accountant. Working under the direction of the Finance Director, this position assists with all facets of the finance office.
The accountant is responsible for the day-to-day record keeping in the City’s financial accounting system and subsidiary systems, including such processes as payroll,&nbsp; cash receipts,&nbsp; general ledger, and cash management. In addition, the accountant is responsible for the oversight of payroll, benefit coordination, general ledger account reconciliation, analysis, grant tracking, and reporting.
Successful candidates will possess exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, the ability to work with confidential information,&nbsp; and experience with Microsoft Word &amp; Excel, as well as accounting software and report writing software. Must be a team player, highly organized, self-motivated, and possess excellent judgement and customer service skills. Experience in a municipal setting is desirable.

Need someone who would like to work flex hours Tuesday thru Friday a minimum of 10 hours a week. You pick days and time between 9 to 5. Tasks are posting invoices into accounting software as well as answering phone. Experience not needed. We can train. $20 per hour.
