Position Overview
Our small size Membrane Research and Development team, focused on development of new products, optimization of existing products and providing technical expertise to multiple teams, is looking for a chemical technician. An employee in this role, reporting to the team Sr. Scientist will conduct various activities related to membrane development and manufacturing, and will then summarize, present and clearly communicate results and findings. 
As a team member the technician will perform developmental hands-on work in laboratory and occasionally on the Manufacturing floor, interacting within the R&amp;D team and with other teams. 
The chemical technician will use various analytical instruments, including a state-of-the-art Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). 

Responsibilities
Typical activities include:

<li>Operate analytical instruments to test current and developmental MF/UF/NF/RO membranes.</li>
<li>Work with the team on new membrane development. </li>
<li>Record and maintain R&amp;D experiment details, test procedures and results. Develop new procedures as required and submit internal reports on various activities.</li>
<li>Operate Lab scale and bench-scale equipment.</li>
<li>Work under supervising for new protocol development and scale up processes.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>

Sr. Scientist / Associate Director Immunology and Inflammation

<h3>Job Description</h3>
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Purify high-quality recombinant cytosolic, secreted, membrane, and refolded proteins.</li>
<li>Validate proteins through quality control experiments such as HPLC, mass spectrometry, binding, and enzymatic assays.</li>
<li>Perform biophysical analysis of proteins and/or protein complexes using mass spectrometry and other analytical techniques.</li>
<li>Develop and optimize protein purification strategies and biophysical methods to support drug discovery programs.</li>
<li>Share experimental results in team meetings and advise on best practices for generating protein reagents used in biophysical characterization, structural biology, assay development, screening, hit identification, and immunization.</li>

Required Qualifications:

<li>PhD in biochemistry, chemistry, molecular &amp; cellular biology, biophysics, or a related field with 2–4 years of experience; or BS/MS with 6–12 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in industry.</li>

<li>Strong expertise using AKTA purification systems and a solid understanding of modern protein purification techniques.</li>

Job Description 
The incumbent will participate in the formulation and process development of biotherapeutics. This position will be responsible for performing analytical testing and characterization of candidate molecules by using various biophysical, biochemical and particulates characterization techniques as well as supporting laboratory operations and maintenance. This is a laboratory-based position performing formulation and process development activities specifically for biotherapeutic products from pre-clinical and Ph I clinical trials through late stage, license application and commercialization. Furthermore, this position will assist in data compilation, data presentations, report authoring, and department documentation support.
 RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Support the development of parenteral formulations for biotherapeutic modalities such as monoclonal antibodies, antibody drug conjugates, proteins, mRNA and vaccines.</li>
<li>Perform rapid, comprehensive characterization of candidate molecules to determine the stability profile. This will be achieved by applying various biophysical, biochemical, particulates characterization techniques such as HPLC (SE-HPLC, IEX, HIC, RP-HPLC), Capillary Gel electrophoresis (CGE), imaged Capillary Electrophoresis (iCE), Spectroscopy techniques, light obscuration, microflow imaging and additional characterization techniques.</li>
<li>Provide general laboratory support, including ordering/replacement of reagents and consumables, general maintenance of equipment, continuous improvement activities, and participating in periodic lab inspections.</li>
<li>The incumbent must be able to interact effectively with a multidisciplinary team of scientists for formulation optimization and overall candidate progression.</li>
<li>This position will be responsible for preparing data summary presentations, providing data verification support, compiling data, and using lab-based systems for data collection such as Empower and electronic laboratory notebooks.</li>
<li>Effective communication skills are required for interactions with laboratory scientists, project managers and colleagues from numerous functions.</li>
