What You’ll Do

<li>Maintain our finished goods warehouse in an organized manner ensuring that all similar materials are grouped together and that adequate spacing is provided between rows of product.</li>
<li>Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with the warehouse and inventory control team.</li>
<li>Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper movement of finished goods from the transfer dock to the main warehouse and efficient and accuracy picking of finished goods for customer orders. </li>
<li>Ensure inventory is properly stored, labeled and rotated.</li>
<li>Generate inventory reports and provide data analysis to support operational decisions.</li>
<li>Comply with safety and quality standards in inventory handling.</li>

PURPOSE: To assist the Director of Resident Care and Service Coordination with providing exceptional quality care for the general wellbeing of the elderly residents that suffer from Alzheimer’s and Dementia. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· Valid Massachusetts CNA or HHA or higher grade of certification preferred.
· Must have good communication skills.
· Must be able to interact with residents and treat them with dignity and the highest level of respect.
· The ability the multi task and ability to properly judge and react to all situations present in a professional manner.
· Must complete 3 day orientation on Assisted Living and other required topics according to EOEA’s Assisted Living Regulation 651CMR section 12.07.
· Must complete a minimum of 15 hours per year of ongoing education and training.
GENERAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Assists residents with SAMM (Self-Administered Medication Management).
· Prepares and serves custom dietary approved meals and assures that the residents are completely satisfied with the meals presented to them.
· Washes, folds and puts away the residents’ laundry towels and linens with care and accuracy.
· Performs daily general cleaning of the house, including picking up, cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms and washing the floors. Cognizant of all odors and makes sure that all odors are eliminated in a timely manner.
· Responsible for stocking all resident room and kitchen with essential supplies and notes when supplies are running low.
· Responsible for answering the telephone with the highest level of professionalism and properly relay messages and information to the house manager.
· The assigned overnight Resident Care Specialist position is an awake position and it is expected that this individual is awake at all times during their shift.
