What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.</li>
<li>Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the educational location.</li>
<li>Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.</li>
<li>Observe for any irregularities, report incidents, and communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as appropriate.</li>
<li>Assist visitors, students, staff, and faculty with directions and general information while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.</li>
<li>Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure atmosphere.</li>
<li>Document all activities, observations, and incidents according to site-specific procedures and Allied Universal protocols.</li>

Minimum Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Customer service experience is preferred.</li>
<li>Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.</li>
<li>Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.</li>
<li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.</li>

Emmaus Inc., a non-profit in Haverhill MA, is seeking a full-time Maintenance. The successful candidate will work as part of our facilities management team to provide preventative, routine and emergency multi-site property management services. This will include general upkeep of residential apartment buildings and program offices with skills in basic plumbing, carpentry and unit turnover.
 Requirements of the Maintenance Worker:
<ul>
<li>MUST participate in "on-call" rotation to deal with emergencies on evenings and weekends</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of plumbing, small electrical repairs, general maintenance, the ability to use floor maintenance machines, and willingness to carry out cleaning duties as needed</li>
<li>Ability to perform physical work and to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds as required</li>
<li>Must be able to read and speak English</li>
<li>Good interpersonal skills with a courteous and professional manner.</li>
<li>Must have a valid driver's license in good standing and be willing to travel locally</li>
<li>Must be able to pass CORI and driving records check</li>
<li>Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.</li>
