Job Summary Redcon Security is seeking a professional and dependable Security Officer to join our team in Watertown, MA. Your primary responsibility is to maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and property. You will be responsible for protecting premises and assets while preventing unauthorized or inappropriate activity. The ideal candidate has prior security or public safety experience, strong communication skills, and demonstrates a high level of integrity at all times. Responsibilities

<li>Patrol property and maintain strong visibility</li>
<li>Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized individuals gain access</li>
<li>Remove or escort trespassers when necessary</li>

Qualifications

We currently have openings for experienced Full Time Armed, Security Associates in the Greater Boston area. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

<li>Conducting interior and exterior tours of the properties.</li>
<li>Maintaining a general security presence and visual deterrence.</li>
<li>Monitoring CCTV Cameras.</li>
<li>Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance.</li>

<li>Writing time-sensitive detailed daily Shift Logs or After-Action Reports and generating Incident Reports as needed.</li>

<li>Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass pistol qualification.</li>
<li>Must currently possess a valid unrestricted Massachusetts License to Carry.</li>
<li>Must own several dark-colored suits.</li>
<li>Must have reliable transportation.</li>
<li>Must be well-groomed and present a professional image.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass screening process, including drug testing and extensive background investigation.</li>
<li>Must have a minimum of 2-5 years documented and verifiable experience in law enforcement, military, corrections or the private security sector.</li>
<li>Must be able to work with children and young adults.</li>
<li>Ability to tactfully negotiate conflict and de-escalate potentially hostile situations</li>
<li>Must be flexible regarding the schedule and work environments</li>
<li>Must be detail-oriented, have a professional attitude and possess excellent written and verbal skills</li>
