<li>Responsible for contracting the maintenance and repair of all building systems, from scope development (if necessary), competitive bidding, securing proper approvals, scheduling, implementation, qualifying and directing subsequent repairs and maintenance necessary and maintaining all records accordingly.</li>
<li>Serves as the primary liaison in collaboration with applicable program Directors, for the compliance, permitting and certification requirements, including all local, state and federal inspections, and other agencies having jurisdiction.</li>
<li>Collaborates with Aquatics Director to assure all pool, steam and sauna systems a functioning as designed and provides assistance with scheduling complex repairs and replacements.</li>
<li>Inspects building envelope including masonry, concrete, EFIS, waterproofing, glazing, fire escapes, roofing, building entry and access, and other physical construction components and systems for structural and physical integrity.</li>
<li>The Facilities Director has a dotted line responsibility to the Vice President of Facilities and may be involved with the annual Capital Improvement Program, as collaboratively determined by the Branch Leadership and the Facilities Department.</li>

We’re looking for a trustworthy technician to maintain the physical condition of one of our properties. As part of the Maintenance team, you’ll help with the requests that come in each day pertaining to the more technical side of the building– like appliance maintenance, smoke detector installations, and light fixture removals. We love to keep our buildings looking beautiful, so you’ll also be responsible for routine cosmetic updates – such as painting, changing screens, and replacing windows.
 Location: The Chesterfield Apartments, Framingham, MA.
 
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. On-call rotation required. 
 
What you’ll do:

<li>Execute daily maintenance requests professionally and expediently.</li>
<li>Remain at the ready for emergency maintenance needs, emergency flood situations, and back-to-back move-ins.</li>
<li>Make repairs in the building to things like doors, locks, tiles, and handrails.</li>
<li>Monitor and work closely with outside contractors and suppliers.</li>
<li>Maintain paperwork and invoices related to your work.</li>

What we’re looking for:

<li>6 months+ of trade experience or building maintenance</li>
<li>You have a working knowledge of the equipment needed to make repairs on the property, including electrical and mechanical systems.</li>
<li>Essentially, you love fixing things, making spaces more pleasing for the people who inhabit them, and you’re always ready to lend a helping hand even in high-stress situations.</li>
<li>You’re great at identifying safety concerns and solving them.</li>

What You'll Do:
