Monitors and evaluates programs, services, and activities to ensure Club and child safety, quality programs, and good appearance of the branch/site at all times. Ensures that program areas are safe, well-ventilated, and well lit; and that Club equipment is maintained in a good working condition. 4.Ensures the evaluation of Club programs continually, including tracking outcome metrics; verifies that programs/activities respond to member needs and addresses their gender and cultural diversity. 5.Responsible for documenting any problems or issues that may arise on a day-to-day basis through the use of injury/incident reports. 6. Responsible for communicating with child care licensing and DCYF when applicable. 7.Participates in special programs and/or events such as all-staff training days. 8.Participates in staff meetings. 9.Facilitates open and effective, professional verbal and written communication with families, staff, and members. 10.Other duties as assigned. Requirements A group leader in a school-age program shall be at least 17 years of age, and have one of the following: -Experience working with school-age children, totaling 600 hours; -Documentation of at least 3 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children, awarded by an accredited college or university; -Documentation that she or he is a certified coach; -Documentation of 5 years of parenting experience; or 
-Documentation form or on file with the department that she or he was qualified and employed as a group leader in a school-age program on or before the adoption of these rules in 2022.

Full-time residential positions working non-school hours 1pm-9pm shifts including one weekend day/evening ($1/hour differential pay applies to all residential shifts). (Substitute/per diem hours also available). Residential experience with emotionally handicapped, learning disabled, or neuro-behaviorally impaired individuals is preferred, but not required. The Residential Decarbonization Manager will support the City’s goal of an equitable, resilient, thriving, and carbon-negative city. The Manager will be responsible for reducing and mitigating emissions from residential buildings, the community’s largest source of greenhouse gas emissions. The Manager is expected to educate property owners and residents, reduce energy burdens, and facilitate the transition to all-electric and renewable systems through equity- centered initiatives. The employee is required to perform all similar or related duties.

RECOMMENDED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and five to seven (5-7) years’ experience in sustainable development and/or practices, building decarbonization, energy efficiency strategies, energy regulation, program management, engineering, urban planning, public policy; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Possess a valid MA Driver’s License, with a responsible driving record OR the ability to move independently between various job sites in one day.
Preferred:
Master’s Degree in urban planning, environmental science, studies, or policy, sustainable design,
climate change, architectural, mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field. Experience managing or coordinating a federally funded initiative. Previous experience working with contractors.
Experience with system design and installation for heat pumps.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
Knowledge: Demonstrated technical expertise in residential building science and energy efficiency. Demonstrated knowledge of applicable local, state, regional, utility, and federal programs and incentives, as well as agencies, laws, polices, and regulations. Work Environment
The work environment involves everyday discomforts typical of offices, with occasional exposure to outside elements.
