All Care Homecare, LLC is hiring 1 Direct Care workers in the Kingston, MA area. We have multiple schedules available from full-time to part-time and even per-diem. We have flexible mom hours as well. All Care provides services to individuals in their own homes and communities, who need assistance caring for themselves because of old age, sickness, disability, and/or other inflictions. Direct care include assistance with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, laundry, and shopping.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Float position – Home &amp; Community, full-time with varying 
work schedule
Summary: This Home &amp; Community DSP position provides support for individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes or community. The schedule changes every two weeks and incorporates a range of different shifts including days, nights, weekends and overnights.
This caregiving position involves working with individuals either in a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio with a mixture of duties and responsibilities, including direct care, personal care, and community support. Duties vary in intensity and frequency based upon the individual(s) being supported. Extensive training provided.
Essential Functions:

<li>Provide support in helping individuals develop and maintain independent living skills including social skills, cooking and nutrition, communication, money management, community activities, household duties, safety, health and personal hygiene.</li>
<li>Provide medication administration, if the individual is unable to administer their own medications. This is determined by the agency nurse. Medication training is provided by the agency.</li>
<li>Assist individuals in accessing and engaging in community and social activities. These could include going out to eat, attending concerts or movies, building friendships, volunteering, taking walks, or participating in sports or workouts. Provide transportation to work and community activities, and must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.</li>
<li>Support individuals in achieving goals outlined in their service agreements. Adhere to support needs as outlined in a positive behavioral support plan if necessary. Accurately track an individual's progress, inform the Program Manager of any changes affecting an individual's well-being, injury, illness, and health or emotional changes.</li>

Position Summary
As a Lead Support Specialist, you will provide a supportive and safe environment in community residential settings within MHA’s ICL (Integrated Community Living) department. Direct Support Professionals are members of a team responsible for providing high quality direct care services to adults with developmental disabilities. As a nonprofit organization, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. We are looking for both entry level and experienced individuals to work as Direct Support Professionals in our residential homes. The right candidates will be responsible for providing care and assistance to Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Full and part time positions available in Burlington, Chelsea, Winthrop, Revere, Waltham, West Roxbury, Hyde Park and Saugus. Please indicate preference for location and shift.
Salary: $20 per hour. 
 
$2.00/hour differential for high intensity programs
 
What you’ll do:
<ul>
<li>Offer guidance for residents during skills building</li>
<li>Develop and implement individual treatment plans for residents</li>
<li>Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, money management, doctor’s appointments and assisting with personal hygiene</li>
<li>Ensure appropriate staff-to-client ratio at all time</li>
<li>Develop and promote a supportive relationship with the residents</li>
<li>Support each Individuals existing relationships and assist in increasing their network of friends and acquaintances.</li>

What you’ll need:
<ul>
<li>Education:
<ul>
<li>High School diploma or GED required. </li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in any related field preferred.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Experience:
<ul>
<li>Zero to six years related experience (depending on DSP level) providing child care/elder care/direct support to developmentally disabled persons or previous experience supporting individuals in a mental health/special education or other human services setting is required.</li>
</ul>

<li>Skills:
<ul>
<li>Must have valid Massachusetts Driver’s license. </li>
<li>Must be or able to become MAP certified</li>
<li> CPR/First Aid certified within five months of hire (training provided).</li>

Community Bridges is looking for a 1 full-time Direct Support Professional in Loudon, NH! 
We are a non-profit agency founded in 1982 with a mission to advance the integration, growth, and interdependence of people with developmental disabilities within their own communities. Building on the strengths of over 1,100 individuals in the greater Capital Area and their families, we work to identify barriers of access to find creative solutions to develop meaningful community engagement.

The Day Program Direct Support Professionals responsibility is to promote abilities not disabilities and to develop a bond between the individual and community. More importantly, to identify those assets that most likely lead to social inclusions for a specific individual whose gifts and interests have been identified.
 
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Education: High School Diploma or GED required.</li>
<li>Experience: Experience in the human service or related field with persons experiencing disabilities desirable.</li>
</ul>
Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of automobile insurance.

Compensation and Benefits:
There is a $1000 sign-on bonus for this position - $500 will be paid at the time of hire and $500 will be paid after 6 months in the role. *Please note, sign-on bonuses are for new hires only. Re-hires and transfers are not eligible at this time.
Paid Time Off: For a full-time employee working 40 hours a week, 22 days of Paid Time Off is received per year! PTO days will increase over the years based on longevity and there is no waiting period to start using your PTO!

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assist individuals in obtaining a sense of self-esteem and confidence with planned activities and community involvement.</li>
<li>Provide individualized type and level of support to include, but not be limited to, personal care and/or skill acquisition etc.</li>
<li>Assist individuals in establishing, maintaining, and presenting a positive image.</li>
<li>Assist with the development and individualizing the yearly Person Centered Planning by providing information to assist with the implementation strategies for goals/objectives and methods for monitoring the delivery and quality of supports to the individual.</li>
<li>Complete documentation requirements as specified by the Individual Service Agreement to include the scheduled data collection and monthly progress notes.</li>
<li>Will stay in compliance with all company and state required trainings which will include Relias and in person trainings as well as yearly ISA Sign Offs.</li>
<li>Report any safety, health or human rights concern immediately to the Supervisor.</li>
<li>Understand and ensure compliance with applicable state regulations.</li>
<li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li>
</ul>

Environment and Physical Demands:
<ul>
<li>Work environment- The positions is typically in the community. You will be required to come to the office for in person trainings and meetings.</li>
<li>Physical demands- Direct Support Providers must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and to provide transfers if necessary. Walking and standing required frequently with occasional stair climbing. Must be able to push wheelchairs and operate wheelchair lifts/Hoyer and barrier free lifts if required for the client. Emergency behavioral intervention must be followed in accordance with behavioral intervention techniques and individual behavioral plans.</li>

Travel:
Must have access to personal vehicle during all scheduled work hours. Frequently travels with supported individuals utilizing personal vehicle. Must possess and maintain a valid NH license and safe driver's record in accordance with Community Choices standards with adequate liability insurance.
