Hospice Business Development Representative
Primary Function: The Business Development Representative is an experienced hospice sales/marketing professional whose primary function is to develop relationships and create sustaining business relationships with SNFs, ALFs, Hospitals, and physician practice groups resulting in hospice referrals/admissions. Success in this position is gained by direct relationships built by marketing efforts and relationships. 
 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

<li>Work closely with the Director of Business Development to develop and execute a successful marketing strategy.</li>
<li>Develop and implement a weekly pre-call plan.</li>
<li>Cold call potential referral sources to introduce Faith &amp; Family Hospice as an option to support their patients/residents/families and educate as applicable. </li>
<li>Develop and maintain relationships in assigned territory to maintain constant visibility of Faith &amp; Family Hospice programs and services.</li>
<li>Develop opportunities to conduct in-service presentations for referral sources on current end-of-life topics/issues, or other healthcare related topics.</li>
<li>Discuss Care Plan Oversights with providers. </li>
<li>Gather and review clinical documentation to determine eligibility in collaboration with the Admissions Nurse and other team members.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot real or perceived problems that could impact patient referrals.</li>
<li>Provide excellent customer service and prompt resolutions of any service issues/failures.</li>
<li>Analyzes referral source patterns, determine reason(s) for the referral and develop targeted marketing plan(s) to maximize the further development of the particular referral source.</li>
<li>Represents Faith &amp; Family Hospice at professional events. Prepare and host presentations, if applicable.</li>
<li>Meet with patients and families to discuss the Hospice Medicare benefit and complete consents, if requested.</li>
<li>Complete Patient Narrative for each patient/family meeting.</li>
<li>Lead or participate in a variety of Business Development, and other meetings and activities to ensure timely communication of marketing strategies/referral source needs.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the clinical team to review programs and strategies aimed at increasing census. </li>
<li>Ensure Faith &amp; Family Hospice staff remains informed of current marketing directions and tactics and continually educate them on the importance of each employee personally being a "representative" for the organization when interacting with referral sources.</li>
<li>Identifies opportunities to improve the level of service provided by the agency. </li>
<li>Performs on-going evaluations of current systems and processes and makes recommendations for improvement.</li>
<li>Attends outside trainings and seminars to keep abreast of developments in areas of program growth and healthcare marketing.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other members of the Business Development Team to ensure referral to admission efficiencies and timeliness.</li>
<li>Participate in Faith &amp; Family Hospice new employee orientation as requested.</li>
<li>Track daily marketing activity in CRM, Trella Health.</li>
<li>Performs other duties, tasks or responsibilities as required, assigned, or directed.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Commitment to the hospice philosophy of care.</li>
<li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, in marketing, nursing, healthcare administration, social work, business administration or related field, required; a successful record in outside sales/marketing highly desirable.</li>
<li>Minimum of two (2) years successful and proven sales/marketing experience in hospice or healthcare. </li>
<li>Solid analytical, organizational, and people skills to effectively identify referral source problem areas, develop appropriate courses of action, and convey same to client.</li>

Job Description 
The Encore Boston Harbor Security Officer will be responsible for properly executing security duties on assigned shift, to adequately protect the life and property of guests, team members and the entire facility. The Security department is responsible for maintaining the safety and compliance of all Encore Boston Harbor guests and team members. This includes, but is not limited to: upholding resort policy and procedure,; maintaining all Encore Standards; and ensuring excellent guest and team member experience.&nbsp;
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;&nbsp;

<li>Actively contributes to the departmental performance, and the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental policies and procedures; records and reports.</li>
<li>Verifies that all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and controls property wide are enforced within the department.</li>
<li>Delivers and maintains a Forbes standard level of property-wide service and satisfaction.</li>
<li>Contributes to company-wide communication and best practices.</li>
<li>Keeps informed of all new developments within the department.</li>

<li>Manages multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations.</li>
<li>Escorts and observes guests and team members to ensure their safety and protection; identifies potential safety hazards and report same to the appropriate individual, for proper resolution.</li>
<li>Monitors and patrols assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests and team members.</li>
<li>Minimizes opportunities for loss or damage, anticipating potential problems, reacting to disturbances and prohibited conduct.</li>
<li>Becomes familiar with hazardous materials used on property, and all applicable laws, rules and regulations governing same.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Responds to emergency situations, and/or relays critical information via radio to coordinate solutions to same; informs outside agencies, at the direction of Shift Management, of any unusual or suspicious situations on property.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintains a working knowledge of the facilities, as well as special events on property, in order to advise guests and fellow team members of same, whenever possible.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ensures safe transportation of moneys; assisting in the opening and closing of the gaming tables.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Responds to emergency situations as needed.</li>
<li>Interacts with guests and team members in a positive, professional manner.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintains a series of keys, accessing locked areas as necessary.</li>
<li>Requests and evaluates all &nbsp;identification from all persons who appear to be under the age of thirty &nbsp;to ensure compliance with state and federal gaming regulations.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Must maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel and gaming data.</li>
<li>Works with safety as a priority, and follows department and company safety standards.</li>
<li>Maintains relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training.</li>
<li>Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.</li>

Qualifications 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp;

Age, Gaming and Certifications:
21 years of age or above.
Will be required to obtain and maintain registration or a license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
Education and/or Experience:&nbsp; 
High school or equivalent degree required.&nbsp; Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
Previous Guest Relations Experience preferred.
Military, Security, Law Enforcement or customer service is preferred.
Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.&nbsp; Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English required, second language a plus. Ability to understand detailed instructions and correspondence.&nbsp; Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
Mathematical Skills &amp; Reasoning Ability:
Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to decipher various reports and maintain reports upon request.
