Overview Join&nbsp;Home Matters Caregiving, a trusted in-home care agency serving the&nbsp;Greater Boston West&nbsp;area. We provide everything from companionship to end-of-life hospice care, and we’re committed to supporting our caregivers with the training, resources, and professional growth they need to succeed.
Duties
<ul>
<li>Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.</li>
<li>Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.</li>
<li>Medication reminders and documentation</li>
<li>Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.</li>
<li>Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.</li>
<li>Assist with dementia care, providing specialized support for individuals with cognitive impairments.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members regarding client needs and progress.</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>6 months&nbsp;of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant.</li>
<li>Ability to&nbsp;read, write, and speak English clearly</li>
<li>Ability to&nbsp;pass a background check</li>
<li>A heart for&nbsp;compassionate, high-quality in-home care</li>
<li>Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.</li>
<li>Experience or training in dementia care is highly desirable.</li>
<li>A valid driver's license may be required depending on client needs.</li>
