RESPONSIBILITIES
The Certified Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing one-on-one and couples personalized fitness instruction in person to clients at their home, apartment gym or outside while encouraging them to reach their fitness goals. Responsibilities are as follows:

<li>Customize client workout programs developed from the Initial Assessment</li>
<li>Utilize the Svetness Fitness App for all client sessions, including programming &amp; session notes</li>
<li>Demonstrate each exercise and ensure client is performing correctly with or without modifications</li>
<li>Conduct client Reassessments every 4-6 weeks</li>
<li>Maintain client session appointments through Svetness scheduling software</li>
<li>Able to provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments</li>
<li>Able to commute to and from client sessions up to 45 minutes</li>

QUALIFICATIONS

<li>Certified Personal Trainer: Accredited by NCCA, DEAC, or NBFE.</li>
<li>CPR/AED Certification: Ensure clients' safety with up-to-date CPR/AED training.</li>
<li>Education and experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent and 1-3 years of personal training experience.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills: Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and technically.</li>
<li>Knowledgeable in nutrition: Possess a basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.</li>

These positions assist or instruct groups and related lessons for FMC learn to skate and/or learn to play programs. This role includes preparing and leading group classes, maintaining safety and professionalism, and contributing to an uplifting fitness culture.
 
 
What You’ll Do
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Design and lead 30–60 minute group fitness classes that reflect Bouldering Project offerings (e.g., HIIT, Strength, Core, Mobility, Functional Fitness)</li>
<li>Demonstrate and coach proper movement techniques, offering modifications and progressions for a range of fitness levels and abilities</li>
<li>Welcome participants, build rapport, and foster a fun, inclusive, and community-centered experience</li>
<li>Maintain a professional appearance and conduct classes in alignment with industry safety standards</li>
<li>Arrive early, prepared, and ensure classes start and end on time</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness and organization in studio and fitness areas</li>
<li>Respond to injuries and emergencies following established safety protocols</li>
<li>Coordinate class coverage when unavailable and assist with subbing for other instructors as needed</li>
<li>Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required</li>
<li>Ensure accurate headcount and class tracking</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>

Requirements:
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Current certification in Group Fitness or Personal Training from a nationally accredited body (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA, AFAA)</li>
<li>CPR/AED certification and basic first aid training</li>
<li>Minimum 1+ year of experience teaching group fitness classes</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to participant needs</li>
<li>Passion for movement, fitness, and community building</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li>2+ years of group fitness instruction</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field</li>
<li>CSCS certification</li>
<li>Experience in functional fitness, mobility, or strength-based formats</li>
<li>Personal training experience</li>
</ul>
