<ul>
<li>In laboratory, performs routine laboratory procedures and set-ups of analytical equipment, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).</li>
<li>Operates equipment to perform established testing procedures in accordance with SOPs.</li>
<li>Assists in chemical or biological analyses.</li>
<li>Prepares standard solution reagents, media, and related materials to use in testing.</li>
<li>Reports to Laboratory Supervisor III.</li>
</ul>
 
Required Qualifications
<ul>
<li>College Junior or Senior science or engineering major, with at least three courses in chemistry, including a laboratory.</li>
<li>General understanding of laboratory procedures.</li>
<li>Ability to perform careful laboratory manipulations.</li>
<li>Good communication skills</li>
<li>Time frame: May to September</li>
</ul>
