OPPORTUNITY
The Housing Search Services Advocate plays a key role in supporting Rosie’s Place guests in navigating the complex housing landscape of Greater Boston. This role combines direct service, case management, advocacy, and collaboration with internal and external partners to help guests secure and maintain stable housing. The Housing Search Services Advocate will conduct intakes, develop individualized housing search plans, assist with applications, provide ongoing support, and connect guests with wraparound services across Rosie’s Place departments.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Conduct housing intakes and readiness assessments for guests referred to the program</li>
<li>Collaborate with guests to develop individualized Housing Search Action Plans, outlining goals, barriers, and steps toward housing stability</li>
<li>Conduct walk-in housing search clinics to provide immediate assessment, guidance, and resource navigation</li>
<li>Carry and manage an active caseload, providing ongoing support and follow-up</li>
<li>Assist guests in completing housing applications, gathering documentation, and preparing for landlord interviews </li>
<li>Provide education on tenant rights, budgeting, and maintaining housing</li>
<li>Maintain consistent, trauma-informed, and strengths-based engagement with each guest in prioritizing their needs and setting achievable goals</li>
<li>Coordinate closely with Advocacy, Stabilization, Legal Advocacy, Workforce Development, and Behavioral Health programs to provide wraparound support</li>
<li>Make referrals to external partners for additional support, i.e. Furniture bank, movers etc.</li>
<li>Build and maintain relationships with landlords, property managers, housing authorities, and community partners</li>
<li>Stay current on affordable housing programs, eligibility requirements and market trends</li>
<li>Maintain accurate guest records in Salesforce, a database to track guest support</li>
<li>Ensure confidentiality when handling all aspects of guests’ information</li>
<li>Participate in weekly supervision, program meetings, and monthly staff meetings</li>
<li>Intervene in guests’ crises and emergencies in a dignified and respectful manner</li>
<li>Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Housing Search Services </li>

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The starting salary range for this position is $52,000-$65,000, commensurate with experience.

We are a hands-on team and seek employees who are passionate about our work and service to our community. Case Managers in LUK’s Residential Services provide trauma-informed assessment and coordination services and interventions that promote the safety, permanency, and well-being of children, youth, and young adults. The Case Manager will be involved with youth/families from the point of referral to discharge. This position will gather youth/family information via screenings, assessments, and consultation with collateral sources, participate in treatment and discharge planning, and ensure that the identified needs of the youth/family are met through referrals to appropriate resources. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or closely related field and have or obtain an LSWA within six months of employment. The qualified candidate must demonstrate a commitment to family preservation and reunification and understand separation issues and loss experienced by youth in care. This is a full-time position located in North Central Massachusetts. Work will take place within the therapeutic milieu and family homes and will include community-based travel and work. RESPONSIBILITIES

At the heart of the Kids-A-Part Parenting Program is a simple but powerful belief: children deserve stability, connection, and support. We seek a Community Case Manager who will play a key role in making this belief a reality.&nbsp;
This role works directly with children of incarcerated parents and their caregivers, helping families find the resources they need to thrive. The Community Case Manager coordinates and facilitates parent-child visits—sometimes one-on-one, sometimes virtually, and in groups—creating moments of connection that matter deeply for both children and their parents. Inside the Northern State Correctional facility, this role leads engaging programs such as Storybook, Parent Education, and Dad’s Mail, all designed to strengthen parenting skills and nurture relationships.&nbsp;
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position based in the community and within the Northern State Correctional Facility in Newport, Vermont. What You Will Bring:&nbsp;

<li>Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology child development, human services or a related field or a combination of relevant work experience required.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Awareness on the impact of domestic violence and other adverse childhood experiences preferred.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Experience with parenting individuals and children is preferred.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Experience working with families, in multidisciplinary teams, and knowledge of community resources preferred.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Awareness of the impact of the criminal justice system on children and families.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Knowledge of substance abuse issues and relapse prevention.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Familiarity with regulations, laws and procedures of the Vermont Agency of Human Services.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to maintain a valid VT Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation is required; occasional statewide travel may be required.&nbsp;</li>
