Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a background in the electrical field to oversee and manage commercial and/or industrial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will hold a Journeyman Electrician License, have prior estimating experience, and possess at least 2+ years of project management experience within the construction industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage electrical construction projects ensuring scope, schedule, and budget objectives are met
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, field crews, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution
  • Prepare project documentation including estimates, budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Perform job cost analysis and maintain financial oversight throughout project lifecycle
  • Oversee procurement of materials and ensure delivery aligns with project timelines
  • Manage project safety in collaboration with the safety team, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and resolve any field issues
  • Support estimating efforts for upcoming projects and contribute to bid proposals
  • Review project plans, specifications, and electrical drawings for accuracy and completeness

Qualifications:

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician License
  • Proven experience as a Construction Estimator
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in electrical or general construction
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, code compliance, and construction methods
  • Proficiency with project management and estimating software (e.g.,Conest Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Accubid, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong financial acumen and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)


Salary Range: $100-110k DOE plus commission
