Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Build cable assembly to print, draw, and manufacture work instructions and ECNs.
- Measure and cut wire, cable, inner and outer jackets to required length.
- Perform wire termination and crimp terminals both manually and by machine.
- Solder terminals and plugs.
- Repair the rejected product.
- Cable assembly experience.
- Soldering skills.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Ability to interpret detailed specifications.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Basic math skills – Must be able to measure in inches and increments of inches.
Desired skills (not mandatory):
- IPC-610 and 620 certified through step 1
- Soldering wires and pins
- Cable build experience
