Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church seeks an entrepreneurial Event Sales & Venue Manager to lead the growth and operations of two premier event venues.
Position Type: Independent Contractor | Flexible Schedule | Competitive Base + Commission
About the Role You'll be the driving force behind our newly renovated Dilboy Hall (luxury, 250-guest capacity) and Heritage Hall (intimate, 125-guest capacity). This is a unique opportunity to build your own event rental business with an established venue partner, minimal competition, and immediate market demand.
Core Responsibilities

Sales & Client Outreach: Answer inquiries, conduct tours (1-2/week), develop proposals, close rental agreements

Event Coordination: Manage logistics, vendor scheduling, bartender hiring, liquor licensing, police detail compliance

Marketing & Promotion: Manage online listings, social media, local partnerships, seasonal campaigns

Venue Management: Maintain booking calendar, coordinate cleaning/maintenance, manage equipment/inventory

Administrative: Track contracts, deposits, invoices, revenue, and client feedback
