We are currently seeking a Molding Manger to lead and direct the Blow Molding department.
This position will take responsibility for the molding department on a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week basis.
Under the direction of the Molding Operations Manager, the Molding Manager is responsible for: Directing and prioritizing daily production demands; providing leadership and direction to Molding Supervisors; Maximizing machine utilization, production efficiency and production output; Developing and strengthening the molding department across all 4 production shifts; Assuring product quality standards are satisfied; Adhering to all internal procedures, comply with SQF Certification requirements, and any Customer specifications; Monitoring documentation and record keeping to assure it is complete and accurate; Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
The ability to make decisions regarding production requirements, product quality, personnel utilization and overall efficiency is required.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years or more of blow molding experience, a strong background in supervision and management of a diverse workforce, exposure to ongoing process improvement activity and experience operating under Safe Quality Food Standards.
An Associate Degree in a Technical field is preferred.
