To lead the Co-ops efforts in the areas of recruiting, integrating and developing qualified staff, promoting positive staff relations and guiding the organization through positive change. To advance the Co-op s Ends through enhanced employee policies, procedures and programs.
Experience in retail operations and administrative support services, supervisory and project management.
Demonstrated success in team building and staff participation initiatives.
Proven ability to train adult learners.
Facility with financial statements, payroll, HRIS, computer basics HR certificate or equivalent work experience.
Strong communication and leadership skills - ability to work well with others in a cooperative environment where teamwork and constant communication are essential.
Successful supervisory track record; reliability; follow-through on commitments; ability to handle multiple demands.
Demonstrated objectivity, neutrality and calmness under pressure. Working knowledge of state and federal labor laws up to and including certification and/or college coursework in HR procedures.
