SUNY Broome Community College seeks energetic, self-motivated candidate for a part-time, Technical Assistant IA-H in Marketing and Communications. This position is responsible for assisting in the coordination and technical production of various campus designs, providing support as needed to a wide range of departments.
The Technical Assistant IA-H helps with college designs, from signage and print layouts, to basic maintenance of web pages; assists with the following under the direction of the department supervisor: electronic newsletters, small publications projects, and development of graphics for other digital media projects. Aids with electronic file management, and prepares photographic imagery and artwork to support the department in the development of various graphical and media development projects.
An Associate’s degree in a related field or a combination of post-secondary education and related work experience is required. Candidate comfortable in a learner-centered environment and committed to the community college mission are encouraged to apply. Position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse college faculty, staff and students. This is a part-time position. Salary is $20.37/hour.
