SENIOR CENTER DRIVER
Hyde Park Center for Older Adults is a nonprofit senior center serving older adults in seven eastside Cincinnati neighborhoods.
Drives agency vehicle and escorts passengers on assigned trips; assists all passengers into and out of the vehicle, to and from their home; loads and unloads walkers, bags of groceries, and other purchases, and carries all packages inside; maintains a good driving record; helps keep the Center vehicles clean; and maintains accurate records on passengers, destinations, and monthly mileage.
Current Ohio driver’s license; demonstrated safe driving record (verified annually); full mobility in order to drive and assist passengers safely; ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds as needed; ability to pass background check, drug/alcohol tests, and doctor’s physical examination for conditions related to driving.
Base Pay: $10.50 per hour (no benefits)
Duties: Provides safe, timely, and courteous transportation of older adults to and from their homes and scheduled appointments.
Required Experience: Training or experience in working with older adults; excellent driving record and customer service skills; knowledge of eastern Cincinnati. CDL is not required.
Full/Part Time: Part-time, 15-20 hours per week
