NATIONAL SALES MANAGER
Modular Industrial Computers, Inc. is a 25 year old Chattanooga based supplier of Industrial Computers, displays, workstations, and Computer Peripheral enclosures designed and manufactured specifically to allow our customers to operate computing technology on their plant/factory floors where desktop computing technology will not hold up. Our customers typically will be a Fortune 1000 North American based manufacturing company. Our products/solutions, which can easily be reviewed on our website (modularpfc.com), satisfy the demands of three significant industry groups: Food/Beverage/Meat/Poultry, Pharmaceutical/Bio-Tech and General Manufacturing (which will include the Automotive, Aerospace, Primary Metal, Energy, and other markets).
The successful NSM will seek out, introduce, and call on decision makers and potential decision makers responsible for the deployment of computing assets into their Company’s plant/factory floor operations where desktop assets will not survive. We are going to want this person to have the following skills:
MUST be able and have had experience selling to Fortune 1000 Information Technology (IT) and/or Engineering Personnel. Enterprise Software solutions, Automation Assets, Computers, Industrial Computers, or Integration Services would be the ideal background.
Will have a clear understanding and demonstrated track record of identifying high probability potential customers and locating and educating the right people in those organizations that either specify or influence factory floor automation assets.
This person is going to need to be comfortable achieving revenue quotas. While the bulk of the compensation package will be base salary we are looking for an individual who can re-establish relationships with previous customers and establish relationships with new ones.
Ideally, the individual will have worked from a home sales office covering a large regional territory or National account base.
REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES
Develop and execute a Sales plan to identify major customers, communicate and promote Modular products and services
Understand and be able to use Social Media Tools in the Sales qualification and lead generation process.
Work with major END USER, OEM and integrator customers to provide technical solutions utilizing standard product or customized computing solutions.
Understanding of Competitive Products and Technologies.
Experience in qualifying, selling and closing new business at all levels in organization with a focus calling on the Director/VP/CIO level offices.
Generate Quotations, Proposals, and Opportunity Specific Technical Responses.
