Saint Francis University invites applications for an Academic Coordinator in the Department of Physician Assistant Sciences. The Academic Coordinator is responsible to the Chair for the curricular aspects of the didactic year. Duties include: Responsible for the over-all coordination and design of the didactic year of the educational program. Coordination and management of the principal facility, didactic instructional faculty and per diem lecturers as it relates to their contributions to the didactic year curriculum. Maintains liaison with the community health care providers to facilitate participation in the didactic year curriculum, as needed. Coordinates with other University health science programs to provide students opportunities for interdisciplinary experiences and sharing of resources.
Master’s Degree with at least three years of teaching experience preferred. Must be a certified health care professional, preferably a currently NCCPA certified physician assistant or a board-certified and licensed physician.
