The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience managing a childhood education center. She/he will be well acquainted with EEC regulations, QRIS standards and NAEYC standards. She/he will have experience working with the Department of Children and Families. This person will be skilled at managing relationships with teaching staff, administrative staff, and families.
The Site Director will be responsible for:
Overseeing the developmentally appropriate management of 4-5 classrooms, including curriculum, assessment, regulations, children
Managing a teaching staff of 12-15 individuals, including orientation of new staff, supervision, classroom observations, staff evaluations
Enrollment of center, including private slots, Income Eligible Slots and Supportive Slots
Be the center liaison with families, DCF, EEC, and other community organizations in conjunction with the Executive Director
Hiring and termination of staff, in conjunction with the Executive Director
Staff development including meetings, IDP's, training and education
Representing center and attending meetings off-site as needed
Promoting and maintaining the mission and philosophy of the Girls Club of Greenfield

We are seeking an individual with the following:
EEC Director I (or II) certification required
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Demonstrated experience with supervision
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of classrooms, curriculum, assessment
Knowledge of CCFA preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Excellent Writing and Communication Skills
Must submit to EEC Background check, (CORI, SORI, DCF, Fingerprinting)
