Total Management Systems is interviewing qualified general managers for their 105 room Hilton Garden Inn in Gallup, New Mexico. This hotel is the hotel of choice in the Gallup market for both business and leisure travelers. It ranked 38 out of 616 hotels in Gallup, New Mexico. Our hotel features spacious guest rooms and an open concept lobby. Our onsite restaurant and bar offers a place where you can sit back and relax after a long day.
The position will be filled immediately. The GM will be a driven leader who can manage without day-to-day supervision. The candidate will have a genuine desire to align with the company’s culture in taking care of our associates and our guests.
The chosen candidate will have at least 2 years experience in hotels. Prior training is a tremendous plus for the applicant. The individual must be able to work well with co-workers and with the general public. We put our guest first at every hotel, and will expect no less from the GM. It is very important to have a positive attitude in every task given, and create a positive morale in the hotel. The individual must know how to run reports, be competitive and aggressive in sales, and be available at all times if needed.

Minimum two years’ experience as a hotel general manager.
Food and Beverage management experience.
Hilton experience is a plus.
Acumen to make sound decisions and problem resolution skill.
Stability and commitment.
Proven results in associate development and high associate retention.
Proven results in guest satisfaction resulting in high scores and rankings.
Proven STR Indexes near or above 100%.
Experience preparing business plans and budgets, variance reports and cost-controls.
Sales, internet marketing, revenue management and social media experience are essential.
Training skill and dedication to ongoing associate development.
Hands-on management approach.
Computer skills are essential, particularly Excel and Word proficiency.
