My client, a prestigious global law firm, is seeking a Case Assistant to assist attorneys and paralegals with a vast array of projects associated with our representation of both private and public companies.
Responsibilities include assembling, organizing and preserving client documents, maintaining client stock and option records, updating corporate files and records, assisting in the preparation of forms to be filed with federal and state agencies to comply with corporate and securities laws. The Case Assistant will also assist with mailings to shareholders, due diligence and preparation for closings, in addition to other tasks that may be assigned by attorneys and senior paralegals.
Applicants are required to have a BA/BS degree. Success factors include: a strong academic background, excellent oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details, the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with personnel and to handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly.
