Town of Erving COOK/KITCHEN MANAGER The Town of Erving is seeking to fill the position of Cook/Kitchen Manager to operate the food service program at the Erving Senior/Community Center.
This position reports directly to the Senior Center Director.
This is a part-time and non-benefited position.
This position will work approximately 15 - 19 hours/week, year-round.
The anticipated starting rate of pay is $17.25/hr to $17.95/hr, commensurate with qualifications.
This position requires a high level of organization and self-motivation.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma and one to three (1 to 3) years of prior work experience in a commercial food service field, preferably with experience preparing meals and an understanding of nutritional restrictions.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additionally, the successful candidate must have current ServSafe certification or be willing to get certification within six (6) months; must have Massachusetts Allergen Awareness Training; must have a valid driver's license and is able to operate a motor vehicle.
A CORI check will be performed for the successful candidate.
