Warming Center Site Manager
We're looking for an inspired, inspiring site manager to oversee our new warming center for overnight guests who are seeking shelter from the cold. The warming center will be open November 1st - April 30th.
As site manager, you will:
help create a supportive, welcoming environment for our guests-managing the facility, training and supervising the warming center team;
oversee meal preparation and service;
assist people in finding resources they need to address their continuing shelter/housing and other needs; and
engage guests in problem-solving activities.
You're someone who has:
high school diploma and management experience preferred
some background building and supporting successful teams;
basic computer skills and the ability to write daily notes and other communications
certification in first aid and CPR-or the willingness to complete certification upon hire.
the physical ability to attend to guests safety needs; and
the kind of positive energy, patience, common sense, and compassion needed to motivate others;
Warming Center shifts are 6pm-12am and 12am-8am; and as site manager, your own hours will be variable, depending on need.
